Amherst Ohio is a city of about 12,000 residents which is located in northeast Ohio, and is part of the greater Cleveland metropolitan area. The city has the beautiful shores of Lake Erie to the north, and historical Oberlin College just a few minutes to the south. Located in Lorain County, Amherst is close to the larger cities of Elyria and Lorain.
